Ingredients
- Sodium Hydroxide (200mM final conc)
- Potassium Chloride (120mM final conc)
- EDTA 0.5M pH 8.0 (10mM final conc)
- SDS 10% (0.5% final conc)
- Sucrose (20% w/v final conc)
- Bromophenol Blue (0.001% final conc)
- Distilled Water (250mL final vol)

Step By Step
- To a 50mL conical centrifuge tube, add 20mL of distilled water and begin stirring.
- Add 20g of Sucrose and vortex to fully dissolve.
- Add 894mg of Potassium Chloride powder.
- Add 800mg of Sodium Hydroxide pellets and vortex to dissolve remaining solids.
- Add 2mL of EDTA 0.5M pH 8.0
- Add 5mL of 10% SDS stock solution.
- Add 10mg of Bromophenol Blue powder
